Abstract

ABSTRACT The world of business is full by the competition can be only utilized by any reliable company which can strive the excellence. The other way to win market competition are increasing the product quality as well as to attain marketing expense efficiency. Total Quality Management is an effective system to integrate quality development and quality maintenance therefore marketing and service can be placed on the most economic level to reach satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to evaluate if there are any significant effect between Total Quality Management implementation on marketing expense efficiency. Marketing expense can be managed well provide high efficiency for the company. In factually, PT. Dipa Pharmalab Intersains efficiency obtained by the company has not maximum, this can be seen that the realization of marketing expense is over than budget before Total Quality Management implementation. Method of data collection in this study is the documentation, interviews and observation. The data collected were analyzed with the techniques descriptive. And to obtain a conclusion this research used Budget Analysis and Least Squares Method. The results showed that the efficiency of marketing expense at PT.Dipa Pharmalab Intersains from 2005 to 2008 have increased. And the effect of Total Quality Management implementation on marketing expense efficiency is 37.87%. Key words : Efficiency, Marketing Expense, Total Quality Mangement.
