Abstract
ABSTRACT This research studies the effect of the settlement of state owned enterprise’s debt problem to its financial and overall performance. It takes PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda as a focus of the study. Field research and enterprise restructuring plans are the main tools to be used to collect the data of the study. The methodology involves descriptive analysis on the restructuring data mainly on financial data. From this, it can be revealed at least three summaries on, first, condition prior restructuring, second, a set of policy option to address the problem and, three, the best option to carry out the debt restructuring problem.
