description: Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a communication technology that  utilizes Internet Protocol (IP) networks as a data transmission medium. This  technology offers the advantage of more affordable communication costs, enabling  both voice and video calls. The rapid development of computer networking and  communication technologies has given rise to new applications, including VoIP.  This technology operates by converting voice into a digital format that can be  transmitted over LAN networks or the internet. Due to its bandwidth efficiency, low  management costs, and various other advantages, many businesses worldwide are  gradually shifting from traditional wired telephone systems to VoIP to reduce high  corporate phone expenses. The VoIP system uses a Virtual Private Server (VPS) as  the backbone of its connection, configured within a container/Portainer. This  system and service support interconnection and interoperability activities. Through  continuous development and planning, it facilitates and expands communication  processes that are already in place.  Keywords : VoIP, Docker, Portainer, Network, Interoperability, Virtual Private Server      Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) adalah salah satu teknologi komunikasi  yang memanfaatkan jaringan Internet Protocol (IP) sebagai media transmisi data.  Teknologi ini memberikan keuntungan komunikasi dengan biaya yang lebih murah,  dimana komunikasi dapat dilakukan baik dengan voice call maupun video call.  Teknologi jaringan komputer dan teknologi komunikasi saat ini berkembang  dengan cepat dan telah menciptakan aplikasi - aplikasi baru seperti VoIP (Voice  Over Internet Protocol). Teknologi ini bekerja dengan mengubah suara menjadi  format digital yang dapat dikirimkan melalui jaringan LAN maupun internet.  Dikarenakan efisiensi terhadap bandwidth, rendahnya biaya pengelolaan, serta  berbagai kelebihan yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi VoIP tersebut, berbagai bidang  bisnis di dunia secara perlahan mulai mengalihkan pilihan dari sistem telepon kabel  tradisional ke VoIP untuk mengurangi biaya telepon perusahaan yang tinggi. Sistem  VoIP menggunakan VPS (Virtual Private Server) sebagai backbone koneksinya  yang diatur dalam sebuah Container/Portainer. Sistem dan layanan inilah yang  dilakukan untuk mendukung kegiatan interkoneksi/interoperabilitas. Melalui  pengembangan dan perencanaan ini, dapat memudahkan dan memperluas proses  komunikasi yang selama ini sudah tergelar.
