Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of telecommunications in the past decade is growing. Hence the need for increasing tower telecommunication. Base on this condition, competition among contractors is also unavoidable. Various offers and service improvement has also been made by subcontractors to create favorable condition to the customer (in this case is Tower Provider Company). The success or failure of a project collocation caused by inadequate planning and inefective control. PERT and CPM method is the method used to set the time of completion of the project more efficient and effective. To reduce the delays and the use of huge costs to do the process of crashing with the addition of labor. Acceleration duration collocation project conducted on activities that are in the critical path. Result showed the optimal duration of the project an initial condition about 15 days with a total project of Rp. 63.17 million,-. On condition acceleration collocation project can be implemented with a duration of about 10 days with a value of z = 4.0 with a probability of 99.99% with total cost of approximately Rp. 64.93 million Key Word: tower, collocation, control of project, subcontractor, PERT-CPM, crashing, ABSTRAK Perkembangan dunia telekomunikasi pada dekade terakhir ini semakin berkembang. Oleh karena itu kebutuhan akan tower menara telekomunikasi semakin meningkat. Dengan kondisi tersebut, persaingan antar sesama kontraktor juga tidak terhindarkan. Berbagai penawaran dan peningkatan pelayanan juga telah dilakukan oleh subcontraktor untuk menciptakan kondisi nyaman kepada customer (dalam hal ini adalah PT. Tower Provider) dan meningkatkan kepercayaan customer kepada subcontractor. Keberhasilan atau kegagalan suatu project collocation disebabkan oleh perencanaan yang tidak matang dan pengendalian yang tidak efektif. Metoda PERT dan CPM merupakan metoda yang digunakan untuk mengatur waktu penyelesaian project lebih efesien dan efektif. Untuk mengurangi keterlambatan dan penggunaan biaya yang besar dapat dilakukan proses crashing dengan penambahan tenaga kerja. Percepatan durasi project collocation dilakukan pada kegiatan yang berada di lintasan kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan durasi optimal project kondisi awal sekitar 15 hari dengan total biaya project sebesar Rp. 63.170.000,-. Pada kondisi percepatan project collocation bisa dilaksanakan dengan durasi waktu sekitar 10 hari dengan nilai z= 4,0 dengan probabilitas 99,99% dengan total biaya sekitar Rp. 64.930.000, - Kata Kunci: tower, collocation, pengendalian project, subcontractor, PERTCPM, crashing,
