Abstract

As a fostered citizens faced with various pressures that can cause negative emotions. These emotions can be bad for physical and psychological. if the fostered citizens cannot regulate properly. Gamification can be defined using the elements of the game to increase motivation. This study aims to look at the relationship between nine cognitive emotional regulation strategies before and after gamification intervention. Method quasi eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 134 prisoners from young to old. The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in cognitive emotion regulation before and after gamification intervention but there is memorable relationship after gamification intervention on positive reappraisal strategies. Keywords: cognitive emotion regulation, gamifikasi, prisoners Sebagai seorang warga binaan dihadapkan dengan berbagai tekanan yang dapat menimbulkan emosi-emosi negatif. Emosi tersebut dapat berakibat buruk bagi kesejahteraan fisik maupun psikologis jika warga binaan tidak dapat meregulasi dengan baik. Gamifikasi dapat didefinisikan penggunaan elemenelemen permainan untuk meningkatkan motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara sembilan strategi regulasi emosi secara kognitif sebelum dan sesudah intervensi gamifikasi. Metode kuasi eksperimen one-group pretestposttest design. Sample dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 134 warga binaan usia dewasa awal sampai dewasa tua. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan cognitive emotion regulation sebelum dan sesudah intervensi gamifikasi namun terdapat hubungan yang berkesan setelah melakukan intervensi gamifikasi pada strategi positive reappraisal.
