Abstract

Peningkatan investasi di sektor industri minuman mendorong meningkatnya pertumbuhan industri minuman sekaligus berdampak terhadap besarnya kebutuhan kemasan minuman di Indonesia. PT Indo Tirta Abadi merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak sebagai rantai pasok beverage packaging bagi perusahaan minuman terbesar di Indonesia berupaya memaksimalkan kinerja perusahaan untuk menjadi produsen kemasan minuman terdepan di Indonesia. Permasalahannya mesin injection Husky-8 dengan produk PET – Preform 9.12gram yang merupakan produk unggulan perusahaan belum mencapai target OEE yang ditetapkan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pencapaian OEE pada mesin injection Husky-8. Analisis six big losses, 5W dan fishbone diagram dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi losses dan penyebabnya, selanjutnya metode FMEA dan 5W1H digunakan sebagai tools untuk menentukan prioritas perbaikan berdasarkan tingkat resiko penyebab losses. Nilai eksisting OEE pada mesin injection Husky-8 adalah sebesar 92,40%. Pencapaian ini tergolong baik jika dibandingkan dengan word-class OEE namun belum memenuhi target perusahaan yaitu 96.53%. Ditemukan faktor yang dominan menyebabkan tidak tercapainya target OEE yaitu defects in process & rework sebesar 48,26% dan reduced speed sebesar 26,2% dari total losses, untuk meningkatkan pencapaian OEE sesuai target perusahaan, prioritas perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan adalah mengatasi kerak material di barrel dan runner terbakar saat startup (RPN:486) dengan melakukan purging dengan undried–resin pada saat startup mesin, mengatasi temperature cooling tower yang tinggi (RPN:448) dengan proses cleaning dan perawatan berkala pada unit cooling tower, dan mengatasi temperature feedthroath tinggi (RPN:392) dengan memasang premixer pada feedthroath. Kata kunci : OEE, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Injection Moulding, PET- Preform, FMEA, why –why analysis, fishbone, 5W1H, Defect Increased investment in the beverage industry sector has boosted the growth of the beverage industry while impacting the size of beverage packaging needs in Indonesia. PT Indo Tirta Abadi as a company engaged in beverage packaging supply chain for the largest beverage company in Indonesia seeks to maximize the company’s performance to become the leading beverage packaging manufacturer in Indonesia. The problem is that Husky-8 injection machine with PET – Preform 9.12 grams as the company flagship product has not achieved the company OEE target. The aim of this study was to improve the achievement of OEE on Husky-8 injection machine. Analysis of the six big losses, 5W and Fishbone diagrams is used to identify losses and their causes, then the FMEA and 5W1H methods are used as tools to determine the priority recommendations for improvement based on the level of the risk the cause losses. The existing OEE value of the injection machine is 92.40%. This achievement is quite good when compared to the OEE word-class but has not yet achieved the company's OEE target of 96.53%. The dominant factor was detected has cause an unachieving OEE target is defects in process & rework and reduced speed. To achieve a company-defined OEE target, priority improvement are needed is namely overcoming the crust of the barrel and the runner burned material at startup (RPN: 486) by purging with undried – resin at the machine startup, overcoming the high tower cooling temperature (RPN: 448) with the scedhuling of periodic cleaning and maintenance of the tower cooling unit, and overcoming high Feedthroath temperature (RPN: 392) by installing Premixer.
