Abstract

The Internet has become one of the things that are needed in various fields of life today, the advantages of which can be accessed anywhere and anytime, making the internet widely used to facilitate human needs today. In this thesis designed and made a street light monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller that combines several technologies such as the use of Light Dependent Resistors (LDR), PZEM-004T Sensor Modules, and monitoring systems via the phpMyAdmin application to obtain the system monitoring that is able to work effectively and can be monitored wherever and whenever through the internet network. In designing and implementing this street light monitoring system, utilizing the PZEM-004T Sensor Module to read 3 measuring parameters which are current, voltage and power on the lamp and phpMyAdmin web application to display reading data graphically. The output devices used are PC (Personal Computer) and lights. PC as the media used to access the phpMyAdmin web application so that it can monitor data reading 3 measuring parameters from the sensor module. The control circuit for all the hardware used is the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontoller system. The software used is the phpMyAdmin web application to display information graphically about the results of reading the system. Internet sudah menjadi salah satu hal yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan saat ini, kelebihannya yang bisa diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun membuat internet banyak dimanfaatkan untuk mempermudah keperluan manusia saat ini. Dalam Skripsi ini dirancang dan dibuat sistem power monitoring pada penerangan jalan umum menggunakan Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan mikrokontroller Arduino Mega 2560 yang menggabungkan beberapa teknologi seperti penggunaan Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), Modul Sensor PZEM-004T, maupun sistem monitoring via aplikasi phpMyAdmin sehingga didapatkan sistem monitoring yang mampu bekerja secara efektif dan bisa di monitor dari manapun dan kapanpun melaui jaringan internet. Dalam perancangan dan implementasi sistem monitoring lampu jalan ini, memanfaatkan Modul Sensor PZEM-004T untuk membaca 3 parameter ukur yaitu arus, tegangan dan daya pada lampu dan aplikasi web phpMyAdmin untuk menampilkan data pembacaan secara grafis. Perangkat output yang digunakan adalah PC (Personal Computer) dan lampu. PC sebagai media yang digunakan untuk mengakses web aplikasi phpMyAdmin agar bisa memonitor data pembacaan 3 parameter ukur dari modul sensor. Rangkaian pengendali untuk semua perangkat keras yang digunakan adalah sistem mikrokontoller Arduino Mega 2560. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah web aplikasi phpMyAdmin untuk menampilkan informasi secara data mengenai hasil pembacaan sistem.
