Abstract

Today's imagery refers to negative connotations and seems manipulative because of the proliferation of imaging that is done not at the right stage and tends to be in the interests of a few particular people. Especially in the world of politics that is rampant like hoaxes, black campaigns, and various other instant ways to achieve political goals. This research was conducted to find out the PR strategy carried out by success team number 2 in attracting sympathy and support from women through social media, especially Instagram. In this theory, it shows that there are stages of the Political PR strategy that must be done to attract and win support from the target community. This study uses a constructivism approach with a case study research method. Data collection techniques with primary data are interviews with 5 sources and with secondary data, namely library research, documentation and non-participant observation. This study concluded that success team number 2 did a six-step Political PR planning model that refers to the planning model of Jefkins, but was less focused on women, so that based on the LSI survey results decreased. But the new results will be confirmed in the April 17 elections. Key words: PR Strategy, Political Image, Social Media, Women Pencitraan dewasa ini mengacu kepada konotasi negative dan terkesan manipulative karena maraknya pencitraan yang dilakukan tidak dengan tahapan yang benar dan cenderung demi kepentingan segelintir orang tertentu. Khususnya dalam dunia politik yang marak melakukan seperti hoax, black campaign, dan berbagai cara instan lainya demi tercapainya tujuan politik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui strategi PR yang dilakukan tim sukses no urut 2 dalam menarik simpati dan dukungan dari kaum perempuan melalui media sosial khususnya Instagram. Dalam teori ini menunjukkan bahwa ada ena tahapan strategi PR Politik yang harus dilakukan untuk menarik dan memenangkan dukungan dari masyarakat yang menjadi target sasaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan data primer yaitu wawancara dengan 5 narasumber dan dengan data sekunder yaitu studi kepustakaan, dokumentasi dan observasi non partisipan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan tim sukses no urut 2 melakukan enam langkah model perencanaan PR Politik yang mengacu ke model perencanaan dari Jefkins, namun kurang terfokus kepada kaum perempuan, sehingga berdasarkan hasil survei LSI mengalami penurunan. Namun hasil akhir baru akan bisa dipastikan pada pemilu 17 April mendatang. Key words: Strategi PR, Citra Politik, Media Sosial, Kaum Perempuan
