Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership, compensation and work environment on job satisfaction. From this study the independent variables consisted of transformational leadership, compensation and work environment while the dependent variable was job satisfaction. The population in this study were employees of PT Indonesia Toray Synthetics in the Nylon department which amounted to 48 employees and the sample used was 44 employees at the PT Indonesia Toray Synthetics Nylon Department. Data analysis techniques used in this study include test instruments (reliability test, validity test), classical assumption test (normality, multicollinearity test, heterocedasticity test), multiple linear regression analysis, T-test test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2). Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to employees and processed using SPSS 22. The results obtained from this study indicate that, (1) transformational leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) the work environment has no significant and no effect on job satisfaction. Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Compensation, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja. Dari penelitian ini variabel independen terdiri dari kepemimpinan transformasional, kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah kepuasan kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Indonesia Toray Synthetics di departemen Nylon yang berjumlah 48 karyawan dan sampel yang digunakan adalah 44 orang karyawan pada Departemen Nylon PT Indonesia Toray Synthetics. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji instrumen (uji reliabilitas, uji validitas), uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji multikolonieritas, uji heterokedastisitas), analisis regresi linear berganda, Uji T-test, Uji F serta Uji koefisien determinasi (R2). Data dikumpulkan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada karyawan dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 22. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja.
