Abstract

As technology develops, the internet is increasingly needed for information seeking and using social media. Both adults and teenagers and children need the internet. Starting from urban to rural areas, it currently requires internet. However, the quality of networks in urban and rural areas has not been evenly distributed. Therefore in this study a Smart WiFi system was built that offers internet networks to the public with cheap data packages. The system is built using ISP sources from Indihome, RB750 proxy router, M2HP Bullet access point, and omnidirectional antenna. This system can adjust the bandwidth used by the customer, make a package by determining the price and calculation of the billing. In addition, it can also determine the number of devices that can log in using the same account. This system was successfully integrated with the highest RSSI value in the southwest direction of -50 dBm and the lowest at - 68 dBm. Northwest direction gets good coverage with the furthest distance that can be measured is 320m, the highest RSSI value is -50 dBm and the lowest is -72 dBm. Whereas in the northeastern direction the highest RSSI value is -50 dBm and the lowest is at -82 dBm. Keywords: bandwidth, billing, proxy, access point, omnidirectional, user management Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, internet semakin dibutuhkan untuk pencarian informasi dan menggunakan media sosial. Baik orang dewasa maupun remaja dan anak-anak membutuhkan internet. Mulai dari perkotaan hingga pedesaan saat ini membutuhkan internet. Namun, kualitas jaringan di daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan belum merata. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dibangun sebuah sistem Smart WiFi yang menawarkan jaringan internet kepada masyarakat dengan paket data yang murah. Sistem dibangun dengan menggunakan sumber ISP dari Indihome, router mikrotik RB750, access point Bullet M2HP, dan antena omnidirectional. Sistem ini dapat mengatur bandwidth yang digunakan oleh pelanggan, membuat paket dengan menentukan harga dan perhitungan billing nya. Selain itu juga dapat menentukan banyaknya perangkat yang dapat login menggunakan akun yang sama. Sistem ini berhasil diintegrasikan dengan nilai RSSI tertinggi pada arah barat daya sebesar -50 dBm dan terendah pada – 68 dBm. Arah barat laut mendapat coverage yang baik dengan jarak terjauh yang dapat diukur yaitu 320m, nilai RSSI tertinggi pada -50 dBm dan terendah -72 dBm. Sedangkan pada arah timur laut nilai RSSI tertinggi yaitu -50 dBm dan terendah pada -82 dBm. Kata kunci: bandwidth, billing, mikrotik, access point, omnidirectional, manajemen user
