Abstract

At present in Indonesia there are no clear rules in ensuring the performance of the structure of the building designed. This study entitled "Evaluation of XYZ Building Structure Performance Using Pushover Analysis Based on the ATC-40 and FEMA 356" method has a formulation of the problem of how the building's level of performance and how it influences when modifying the dimensions of the column without changing its cross-sectional area. This study aims to determine the performance of the XYZ building that has been built and compare it with the performance after modifying the column section. This Research uses pushover analysis based on the ATC-40 and FEMA 356 methods. The data sources used are as built drawing from the XYZ building. From the data, then re-modeling is done, input loads according to the area to be built, making nonlinear case pushover analysis and evaluating the performance of the XYZ building structure with the help of ETABS v9.7.2 software. Based on the data analysis done, it can be concluded that for the existing building using the ATC-40 method obtained the drift deviation - the average direction of X = 0.009 and the direction Y = 0.010 while for the FEMA 356 method the target direction of X = 0.168 m and the direction Y = 0.185 m . So the results of the XYZ building structure evaluation for directions X and Y are at the performance level of Immediate Occupancy (IO). After modifying the column cross section with the ATC-40 method, the drift deviation was obtained - the average direction of X2 = 0.010 and the direction of Y2 = 0.009 while for the FEMA 356 method the target direction of displacement X2 = 0.193 m and the direction Y2 = 0.161 m. It turns out that it can be concluded that the ATC-40 and FEMA 356 methods for the X2 and Y2 directions are also in the performance level of Immediate Occupancy (IO). There is a significant difference when reviewed using the FEMA 356 method for the target displacement direction X2 ≥ 0.025 m and the direction Y2 ≤ 0.024 m. Keywords: Evaluation, pushover analysis, drift Saat ini di Indonesia belum ada peraturan yang jelas dalam memastikan performance level bangunan yang didesain. Penelitian ini berjudul “Evaluasi Kinerja Struktur Gedung XYZ Menggunakan Pushover Analysis Berdasarkan Metode ATC-40 dan FEMA 356 ” memiliki rumusan masalah bagaimana performance level gedung tersebut dan seberapa pengaruh apabila dilakukan modifikasi dimensi kolom tanpa merubah luas penampangnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kinerja gedung XYZ yang telah dibangun dan membandingkannya dengan kinerja setelah dilakukan modifikasi penampang kolom. Penelitian ini menggunakan pushover analysis berdasarkan metode ATC-40 dan FEMA 356. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan adalah as built drawing dari gedung XYZ. Dari data tersebut kemudian dilakukan pemodelan ulang, input beban sesuai wilayah yang akan dibangun, membuat nonlinier case pushover analysis dan dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja struktur gedung XYZ dengan bantuan software ETABS v9.7.2. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa untuk gedung existing menggunakan metode ATC-40 diperoleh simpangan drift rata - rata arah X= 0,009 dan arah Y= 0,010 sedangkan untuk metode FEMA 356 diperoleh target perpindahan arah X= 0,168 m dan arah Y= 0,185 m. Sehingga hasil evaluasi kinerja struktur gedung XYZ untuk arah X dan Y berada pada performance level Immediate Occupancy (IO). Setelah dilakukan modifikasi penampang kolom dengan metode ATC-40 didapatkan simpangan drift rata - rata arah X2= 0,010 dan arah Y2= 0,009 sedangkan untuk metode FEMA 356 didapatkan target perpindahan arah X2= 0,193 m dan arah Y2= 0,161 m. Ternyata dapat disimpulkan dengan metode ATC-40 maupun FEMA 356 untuk arah X2 dan Y2 juga berada performance level Immediate Occupancy (IO). Terdapat selisih yang cukup signifikan bila ditinjau menggunakan metode FEMA 356 untuk target perpindahan arah X2 ≥ 0,025 m dan arah Y2 ≤ 0,024 m. Kata kunci : Evaluasi, pushover analysis, drift
