Abstract

In designing the structure of a building there are so many factors that must be considered which as building functions, security, strength, rigidity, stability, and economic considerations. The building must be designed according to the criteria of a building those are strong, safe, comfortable but still economical. From many factors that must be considered in the planning of St Moritz Apartments is security which is the main factor. Lateral and axial force should be calculated so that the structure has the ability to be able to withstand these forces and also the needs for the analysis of the reaction caused by the forces that is working on the structure of the building. The building structure that has been established is sometimes functioned not as planned so that the loads that works on the structure of the building can exceed from the previous calculation. To improve the ability of the structure, the nominal strength of the cross section must be increased by enlarging the dimension or by external reinforcement. This study aims to analyze the behavior and performance of concrete jacketing due to the addition of a swimming pool at the apartment building. The analysis was carried out with a two-dimensional portal through modeling existing buildings with the addition of a swimming pool. The behavior and performance of concrete jacketing based on basic shear forces, internal forces, and shear connector analyze. The result shows that the lots of amount of shear connectors and flexural reinforcement, then the performance and behavior are approaching of the monolithic conditions. Similarly, the quality of the concrete that used in concrete jacketing. Keywords: load addition, structural improvement, concrete jacketing, shear connector Dalam perancangan struktur suatu bangunan ada banyak faktor yang harus diperhatikan yang meliputi fungsi gedung, keamanan, kekuatan, kekakuan, kestabilan serta pertimbangan ekonomis. Jadi, bangunan tersebut harus didesain sehingga kriteria bangunan yang kuat, aman, nyaman tetapi tetap ekonomis. Dari sekian banyak faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam perencanaan Apartemen St Moritz, keamanan merupakan faktor yang utama. Gaya lateral dan gaya aksial harus diperhitungkan agar struktur memiliki kemampuan untuk dapat menahan gaya-gaya tersebut dan juga diperlukannya analisis terhadap reaksi yang ditimbulkan oleh gaya-gaya yang bekerja terhadap struktur gedung. Struktur bangunan yang sudah berdiri kadang difungsikan tidak sesuai dengan yang direncanakan sehingga beban-beban yang bekerja pada struktur bangunan tersebut dapat melampaui dari yang diperhitungkan sebelumnya. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan struktur tersebut maka kuat nominal penampang harus ditingkatkan dengan cara memperbesar dimensi atau dengan perkuatan eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku dan kinerja dari concrete jacketing akibat adanya penambahan kolam renang pada sebuah gedung apartemen. Analisis dilakukan dengan portal dua dimensi melalui pemodelan bangunan eksisting dengan penambahan kolam renang. Perilaku dan kinerja concrete jacketing berdasarkan gaya geser dasar, gaya dalam, serta analisis shear connector. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak jumlah shear connector dan tulangan lentur, maka kinerja dan perilakunya mendekati dengan kondisi monolitnya. Begitu pula dengan mutu beton yang digunakan pada concrete jacketing. Kata Kunci: penambahan beban, perbaikan struktur, concrete jacketing, shear connector
