Abstract

Drive Test is a signal measurement technique performed to test the performance of a particular BTS (Base Transceiver Station), which results will be used for network optimization. In performing a drive test using signal measurement tools such as laptops, cell phones, gps, data modems belonging to the assets used by drive test engineers. In this research we designed a web-based asset monitoring application to monitor the assets used to do the drive test work so that the related management of the assets used is well- timed. Analysis and design of this system researchers use prototype software development method. The tools used are UML (Unifield Modeling Language) and use PHP programming language. The goal to be achieved from this research is with the application of web-based asset monitoring can simplify the management of drive test assets used by employees at PT. Synergy Aitikom. Further development is recommended for the addition of interaction features such as chat service between the website manager and drive test engineer. Keyword : Base Transceiver Station, drive test, drive test engineer, prototype, website, Unifield Modelling Language Drive Test merupakan teknik pengukuran sinyal yang dilakukan untuk menguji performansi suatu BTS (Base Transceiver Station) tertentu, yang hasilnya nanti digunakan untuk optimasi jaringan. Dalam melakukan drive test menggunakan alat bantu pengukuran sinyal seperti laptop, telepon seluler, gps, modem data yang termasuk ke dalam aset-aset yang digunakan oleh drive test engineer Pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu aplikasi monitoring aset berbasis web untuk memonitoring mengenai aset-aset yang digunakan untuk melakukan pekerjaan drive test sehingga manajemen terkait aset-aset yang digunakan termonior dengan baik. Analisa dan perancangan dari sistem ini peneliti menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak prototype. Tool-tool yang digunakan menggunakan UML (Unifield Modelling Language) dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah dengan adanya aplikasi monitoring aset berbasis web dapat mempermudah manajemen aset drive test yang digunakan oleh karyawan di PT. Sinergi Aitikom. Pengembangan selanjutnya disarankan untuk penambahan fitur interaksi seperti layanan chatting antara pengelola website dan drive test engineer.
