Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ROA, company size, and trading volume on stock returns. For food and baverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data used in this study, in the form of annual reports of food and baverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2013-2017. The number of food and baverage companies used as samples of this study were 14 companies with observations for 5 years. Based on the purposive sampling method, the total study sample was 70 annual reports. Testing the hypothesis in this study using linear regression analysis. The results of linear regression research show that ROA, Trading Volume has an effect on stock returns and company size does not affect stock returns. Keywords: Return On Assets (ROA), Company Size, Trading Volume, Stock Returns Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ROA, ukuran perusahaan, dan volumr perdagangan terhadap return saham. Pada perusahaan food and baverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan food and baverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013-2017. Jumlah perusahaan food and baverage yang dijadikan sampel penelitian ini adalah 14 perusahaan dengan pengamatan selama 5 tahun. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, total sampel penelitian adalah 70 laporan tahunan. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear. Hasil penelitian regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa ROA, Volume Perdagangan berpengaruh terhadap return saham dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham.
