Abstract

The effect of orientation on buildings on solar radiation results in differences in air temperature which directly affect the room inside, especially in mosque buildings so as to create a space orientation that can be useful for its users. But in its current development, building orientation is aimed more at other things that are considered more important, including to meet the demands of building functions and certain philosophical demands (Yuuwono, 2007). KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque is a building that is located in West Jakarta with a building orientation that faces the East-West side which results in differences in air temperature in the building. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of building orientation on thermal comfort in KH. Hassim Asy'ari Mosque and how the thermal comfort level for the user. The research method was done by using a quantitative method in the form of observation, measurement using a Thermo Hygrometer and Anomometer, then the data was analyzed using Microsoft Word Software and tested using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Software. From the results of the study showed that the temperature-sensitive East-West orientation reached 28.7-32.60C with a humidity of 47-67% and a wind speed of 0.00 m/s so that the Office and UKM space became hot and had an impact on user activity. However, the southern orientation for temperatures reached 26.4- 32.50C with a humidity of 45-64% and a wind speed of 0.00 m/s so that the classrooms can still be said to be comfortable. Therefore, it is necessary to process the layout of the room functions and add double skin to the East-West to create a good and comfortable building. Keywords: Building Orientation, Thermal Comfort, Mosque Pengaruh orientasi pada bangunan terhadap radiasi matahari mengakibatkan perbedaan temperatur udara yang berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap ruangan di dalamnya terutama pada bangunan masjid sehingga tercipta orientasi ruang yang dapat bermanfaat bagi penggunanya. Namun dalam perkembangannya saat ini orientasi bangunan lebih ditujukan pada hal lain yang dianggap lebih penting, diantaranya untuk memenuhi tuntutan fungsi bangunan maupun tuntutan filosofis tertentu (Yuuwono, 2007). Masjid KH. Hasyim Asy’ari merupakan bangunan yang berada di Jakarta Barat dengan orientasi bangunan menetapkan sisi terluas menghadap Timur-Barat yang dimana mengakibatkan perbedaan temperatur udara pada bangunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh orientasi bangunan terhadap kenyamanan termal pada bangunan Masjid KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dan bagaimana tingkat kenyamanan termal bagi pengguna. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif berupa observasi, pengukuran menggunakan alat ukur Thermo Hygrometer dan Anomometer, kemudian data di analisa menggunakan Software Microsoft Word dan di uji menggunakan Software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada orientasi Timur-Barat rentan suhu mencapai 28.7-32.6 0C dengan kelembaban 47-67% dan kecepatan angin 0.00 m/s sehingga pada ruang Kantor dan UKM menjadi panas dan berdampak pada aktivitas penggunanya. Namun, pada orientasi selatan rentan suhu mencapai 26.4-32.5 0C dengan kelembaban 45-64% dan kecepatan angin 0.00 m/s sehingga pada ruang Kelas masih dapat dikatakan nyaman-hangat nyaman. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengolahan pada tata letak fungsi aktivitas ruangan dan menambahan double skin pada area Timur-Barat agar menciptakan bangunan yang baik dan nyaman.
