Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence with job stress perceptions on employees of PT. X and to know the significant negative relationship between organizational communication with job stress perception on employees of PT. X. The samples used in this study were determined by saturation sampling to obtain 60 samples. The type of data used is the primary data obtained from the questionnaire The method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The result showed that there was a significant positive correlation between Emotional Intelligence and organizational communication with r value (0.577), p <0.01, there was significant negative correlation between emotional intelligence with work stress with r value (-0.677), p <0.01, and a significant negative correlation between organizational communication with work stress with r value (-0.569), p <0.01. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Communication, Job Stress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan signifikan yang negatif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan persepsi stress kerja pada karyawan PT. X dan mengetahui hubungan signifikan yang negatif antara komunikasi organisasi dengan persepsi stress kerja pada karyawan PT. X. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan sampling jenuh sehingga diperoleh 60 sampel. Jenis data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang diperoleh dari kuesioner Metode yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan yang positif antara Kecerdasan emosional dengan komunikasi organisasi dengan nilai r (0.577), p<0.01, terdapat hubungan signifikan yang negatif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan stress kerja dengan nilai r (-0.677), p<0.01, dan terdapat hubungan signifikan yang negatif antara komunikasi organisasi dengan stress kerja dengan nilai r (-0.569), p<0.01. Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Komunikasi Organisasi, Stres kerja.
