Abstract
This study aims to examine and assess the effect on leverage, liquidity and firm size to profitability (empirical study of property and real estate companies listed in indonesia stock exchange period 2013-2016). Leverage variable measured by debt of equity ratio, liquidity measured by current ratio, dan firm size measured by LN (total assets). While the dependent variable used in this study is profitability was assessed by using the measurement return on equity. The population in this study amounted to 51 property and real estate companies until 2016. The sample used as many as 29 companies with purposive sampling technique. The data used in this study are secondary data from the official website of Indonesia Stock Exchange and the website of each company. Data analysis techniques used SPSS 22.The result of this study showed that leverage have an effect on profitability. While liquidity and firm size have no effect on profitability Keywords : Profitability, Leverage, Liquidity, Firm Size. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan mengkaji Pengaruh Leverage, Likuiditas dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Profitabilitas (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Sektor Property dan Real Estate yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2013 - 2016). Variabel leverage diukur menggunakan debt of equity ratio, likuiditas diukur menggunakan current ratio, dan ukuran perusahaan diuku rmenggunakan LN (total asset). Sedangkan variabel dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah profitabilitas yang diukur menggunakan return on equity. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 perusahaan sektor property dan real estate sampai dengan tahun 2016. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 29 perusahaan sektor property dan real estate dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diambil dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia dan website masingmasing perusahaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa leverage berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan likuiditas dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas.
