Abstract
Indonesia as a country with the fourth largest population of the world is certainly directly proportional to its high population mobility and crowded. Indonesia with a very large number of islands and scattered to form the archipelago archipelago requires an efficient and efficient transfortasi tool to support high population mobility. The need for the main means of transportation that connects the island in Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke. Mali-Alor Airport Building is an Adaptation of Alor Traditional House. To overcome the amount of building user capacity, the building of Mali - Alor Airport is made up of 2 levels and expanded. The philosophy of Head, Body, Foot of the building at Mali- Alor Airport building is the same philosophy as Alor Traditional House. In order for natural light and air to enter and flow into the building, Mali - Alor Airport building is designed with a roof that has a finned slit and uses many window openings. To cope with the thermal sun of the Mali - Alor Airport building using a large canopy roof and a continuous grille along the hall. Indonesia sebagai negara dengan jumlah penduduk terbesar ke empat dunia tentu berbanding lurus dengan mobilitas penduduk nya yang tinggi dan ramai. Indonesia dengan jumlah pulau yang sangat banyak dan tersebar membentuk kepulauan nusantara membutuhkan sarana transfortasi yang efektif dan efisien guna mendukung mobilitas penduduk yang tinggi. Kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi utama yang menghubungkan pulau di Indonesia dari sabang sampai merauke. Bangunan Bandar Udara Mali - Alor merupakan Adaptasi dari Rumah Tradisional Alor. Untuk mengatasi jumlah kapasitas pengguna bangunan, maka bangunan Bandar Udara Mali - Alor dibuat 2 tingkat dan diperluas. Filosofi Kepala, Badan, Kaki bangunan pada bangunan Bandar Udara Mali - Alor merupakan filosofi yang sama dengan Rumah Tradisional Alor. Agar cahaya dan udara alami dapat masuk dan mengalir ke dalam bangunan, bangunan Bandar Udara Mali - Alor didesain dengan atap yang memiliki celah bersirip dan menggunakan banyak bukaan jendela. Untuk mengatasi panas matahari bangunan Bandar Udara Mali - Alor menggunakan atap kanopi yang besar dan kisi-kisi yang menerus sepanjang selasar. Kata kunci : Bandara Mali Alor, Arsitektur Bandara, Arsitektur Tradisional.
