Abstract

Background: One of the factors that influence sexual behavior is personality. Personality type used in this research is personality with five dimension (big five) that is openess to experience, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. The purpose of this study to determine whether there is a relationship between the personality with Pranikah Sex Behavior in high school students of class XI IPA Kebon Jeruk in West Jakarta. Method: This research uses quantitative approach, the sample in this study of high school students of class XI IPA amounted to 270 consisting of 108 men and 162 women. Result: based on the results of the analysis test that has been done by using Statisical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 20 for Windows. Results show that there is no relationship between personality degan pre-marital sex behavior in high school student of class XI IPA in Kecamatan Kebon Jeruk. Keywords: Premarital Sex Behavior, Big Five Personality Latar Belakang: Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku seksual adalah kepribadian. Tipe kepribadian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepribadian dengan lima dimensi (big five) yaitu openess to experience, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, dan neuroticism. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara kepribadian dengan Perilaku Seks Pranikah pada siswa-siswi SMA kelas XI IPA di Kecatan Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel dalam penelitian ini siswa siswi SMA kelas XI IPA berjumlah 270 yang terdiri dari 108 laki-laki dan 162 perempuan. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan Statisical Package for Social science (SPSS) 20 for Windows. Didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kepribadian degan perilaku seks pra nikah pada siswa siswi SMA kelas XI IPA di Kecamatan Kebon Jeruk.
