Abstract

PT. A is a manufacturing company that produces electronic products. This company produces a mass production with various types of products. As a mass producer, the company is inseparable from the problem of the decline in engine performance. The problem with the company is the high breakdown which causes the machine does not produce the target product that is reached which causes the company to experience a loss. To overcome this, the implementation of the TPM system with the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value obtained from the calculation of availability, performance and quality. From the analysis, OEE Vacuum Forming Male B obtained value of 70%. The OEE value is still not maximal when compared with world-class standards of 85%. Companies need to make improvements to the Set-up and Adjustment which is the main factor in the loss analysis of the value of Six Big Losses. Improvements were made using a causal diagram and 5W1H. Improvements are made to anticipate the low OEE value on the Male Forming Vacuum B machine, namely the holding of training for operators and supervising operators on cleanliness, performing effective component replacement and checking before changing the mold model. Keyword: Injection Molding, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses (SBL). PT. A merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menghasilkan produk-produk elektronik. Perusahaan ini menghasilkan suatu mass production dengan berbagai macam jenis produknya. Sebagai produsen mass, perusahaan tidak terlepas dari permasalahan penurunan kinerja mesin. Permasalahan yang terdapat pada perusahaan adalah tingginya breakdown yang menyebabkan mesin tidak menghasilkan target produk yang dicapai yang menyebabkan perusahaan mengalami kerugian. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dilakukannya penerapan sistem TPM dengan perhitungan nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang didapatkan dari perhitungan availibility, performance dan quality. Dari analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh nilai OEE mesin Vacuum Forming Male B sebesar 70%. Nilai OEE tersebut masih belum maksimal jika dibandingkan dengan standar kelas dunia sebesar 85%. Perusahaan perlu melakukan perbaikan pada Set-up and Adjustment yang menjadi faktor utama kerugian pada analisis nilai Six Big Losses. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan menggunakan diagram sebab- akibat dan 5W1H. Perbaikan yang dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi rendahnya nilai OEE pada mesin Vacuum Forming Male B yaitu diadakannya pelatihan bagi operator serta melakukan pengawasan terhadap operator tentang kebersihan kerja, melakukan penggantian komponen yang efektif dan melakukan pengecekan sebelum penggantian model mold.
