Abstract

CV. Penta Manunggal Industri is a company engaged in metal stamping, dies jig and tools services, The product produced is a request from the customer which is the result of the metal stamping process in the form of oil seal parts. SPCC-SD iron plate is one of the materials used in the process of making oil seal parts. Inventory control system in CV. Penta Manunggal Industri has not been implemented optimally, it shows from the amount of unstabel inventory and high order frequency. The purpose of this study is to obtain the optimal conditions of inventory control from the results of comparison Q Method, P Method and MinMax Method by using the minimum total cost criteria. In this study the results of the comparison of the company with the Q Method, the P Method and the MinMax Method use the minimum total cost criteria that the company can reduce the total inventory cost by Rp7,023,764 or by 39% savings by the Q method. Then when using the P method then the company will issue inventory costs of Rp25,865,148 or an increase of 43%. The Min-Max Method also increased by 60% to Rp28,991,356 for the total inventory cost for a year. Keywords: Inventory Control, Continuous Review System (Q), Periodic Review System (P), Min-Max. CV. Penta Manunggal Industri merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa metal stamping, dies jig dan tools, produk yang dihasilkan merupakan hasil dari proses metal stamping yaitu berupa part-part oil seal. Plat besi SPCC-SD merupakan salah satu material yang digunakan pada proses pembuatan part-part oil seal. Sistem pengendalian persediaan material Plat besi SPCC-SD di CV. Penta Manunggal Industri belum terlaksana secara optimal, terlihat dari jumlah persediaan yang tidak stabil dan frekuensi pemesanan yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh kondisi optimal pengendalian persediaan dari hasil perbandingan Metode Q, Metode P dan Metode Min-Max dengan menggunakan kriteria minimum total cost atau total biaya persediaan paling sedikit. Dalam penelitian ini hasil perbandingan dari perusahaan dengan Metode Q, Metode P dan Metode Min-Max menggunakan kriteria minimum total cost yaitu perusahaan dapat mengurangi total biaya persediaan sebesar Rp7.023.764 atau sebesar 39% penghematan dengan metode Q. Kemudian apabila menggunakan metode P maka perusahaan akan mengeluarkan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp25.865.148 atau naik sebesar 43%. Untuk Metode Min-Max juga terjadi kenaikan sebesar 60% menjadi Rp28.991.356 untuk total biaya persediaan selama setahun.
