Abstract

Workplace design will depend on the type of work and tools or facilities used to support the implementation of work operations. In the production process, many activities use human power, for example in the process of installing bolt manually or manually handling. This is if not done in the right way, it will cause interference in the system of muscles, bones, tendons, and nerves called musculoskeletal disorders. This study aims to analyze work posture and physical complaints of workers and recommend improvements to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) with consideration of ergonomic aspects. This study uses Nordic Body Map (NBM) in data collection techniques from a total of 3 workers. Worker posture was measured using the REBA assessment method, and the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) was measured through filling in the Nordic Body Map (NBM) sheet. The results of this study are as many as 3 people working posture with high level categories. The data obtained using the REBA method from the assessment of the work posture of each respondent is respondent 1 with REBA 9 score, respondent 2 with REBA score 8, and respondent 3 with REBA score 8. Non ergonomic or unnatural work posture can cause complaints MSDs. The worse the work posture, the greater the musculoskeletal complaints. Researchers recommend work tools reduce the risk of MSDs experienced by workers. Keywords: Musculoskeletal disorder, Nordic Body Map, work posture Desain tempat kerja akan sangat bergantung pada jenis pekerjaan dan alat atau fasilitas yang digunakan untuk menunjang pelaksanaan operasi kerja. Dalam proses produksi, banyak kegiatan yang menggunakan tenaga manusia, misalnya dalam proses pemasangan bolt secara manual atau manual handling. Hal tersebut apabila tidak dilakukan dengan cara yang benar, maka akan mengakibatkan gangguan pada system otot, tulang, tendon, dan syaraf disebut dengan musculoskeletal disorders. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa postur kerja dan keluhan fisik pekerja serta merekomendasikan perbaikan untuk meminimasi resiko musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) dengan pertimbangan aspek-aspek ergonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Nordic Body Map (NBM) dalam teknik pengumpulan data dari total 3 pekerja. Postur pekerja diukur menggunakan metode penilaian REBA, serta kejadian keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) diukur melalui pengisian lembar Nordic Body Map (NBM). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 3 orang postur kerja pekerja dengan kategori level tinggi. Data yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode REBA dari penilaian postur kerja masing-masing responden yaitu responden 1 dengan skor REBA 9, responden 2 dengan skor REBA 8, dan responden 3 dengan skor REBA 8. Postur kerja yang tidak ergonomi atau tidak alamiah dapat menyebabkan kejadian keluhan MSDs. Semakin buruk postur kerja, maka keluhan musculoskeletal disorders semakin besar. Peneliti merekomendasikan alat bantu kerja mengurangi resiko MSDs yang dialami pekerja. Kata kunci: Musculoskeletal disorder, REBA, Nordic Body Map
