Abstract

The population in this research is sub sector of various industry. The research data is secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange 2007 to 2016. Hypothesis Testing research using multiple linear regression analysis technique with SPSS version 22.0 application tool. The purpose of this research is to know whether Net Profit Margin (NPM), can affect the profit growth in PT. Astra International and to know whether Total Assets Turn Over (TATO), can affect profit growth at PT. Astra International.. The result showed that: (1) net profit margin has negative and not significant effect to company profit growth. (2) total asset turn over has positive and insignificant effect to profit growth of company. Keywords: net profit margin (npm), total asset turnover (tato), and profit growth of the company. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sub sektor aneka industri. Data penelitian adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2007 sampai dengan tahun 2016. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat aplikasi SPSS versi 22.0. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Net Profit Margin (NPM), dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan laba pada PT. Astra International dan untuk mengetahui apakah Total Assets Turn Over (TATO), dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan laba pada PT. Astra International. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) net profit margin berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan laba perusahaan. (2) total asset turn over berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba perusahaan. Kata kunci : net profit margin (NPM), total asset turn over (TATO), dan Pertumbuhan laba perusahaan.
