Abstract

An aspect that is very important for the success of the company is employees. Before there is a relationship with consumers, customers, the environment, suppliers and other parties outside the company, management must first pay attention to the people who work for them, namely employees. Companies often view their employees as "public number one" or "the most important company asset," and they try to create "corporate comfort" that can attract and retain productive employees or workers. Individual performance improvement will encourage overall human resource performance and provide appropriate feed back to behavioral changes, which are reflected in increased productivity. In this case, increased productivity can be seen from the behavior of drivers who carry out their duties well, wherever the place is assigned will absolutely carry out tasks based on the rules that have been set. In this study the type of research used to reveal the problem in this study is the explanatory type. Explanative research has the purpose of knowing the relationship between two or more variables. From the results of data analysis and results carried out and presented in this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of Interpersonal Communication on Employee Performance. The Influence of Interpersonal Communication on Employee Performance is positive, moderate and significant. This means that Employee Performance can be improved by improving Interpersonal Communication. Aspek yang amat penting bagi kesuksesan perusahaan adalah karyawan. Sebelum ada hubungan dengan konsumen, pelanggan, lingkungan, supplier dan pihak lain di luar perusahaan, manajemen harus terlebih dahulu memperhatikan orang-orang yang bekerja pada mereka yaitu para karyawan. Perusahaan sering memandang karyawan mereka sebagai “publik nomor satu” atau “aset perusahaan paling penting,” dan mereka berusaha menciptakan “kenyamanan perusahaan” yang bisa menarik dan mempertahankan karyawan atau pekerja yang produktif. Peningkatan kinerja secara perorangan akan mendorong kinerja sumber daya manusia secara keseluruhan dan memberikan feed back yang tepat terhadap perubahan perilaku, yang direfleksikan dalam kenaikan produktifitas. Dalam hal ini, peningkatan produktifitas bisa dilihat dari perilaku pengemudi yang menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik, entah dimanapun tempat ditugaskan mutlak akan mejalankan tugas berdasarkan aturan yang sudah ditetapkan. Dalam Penelitian ini tipe penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan persoalan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tipe Eksplanatif. Penelitian yang bersifat ekplanatif mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Dari hasil analisis data dan hasil yang dilakukan dan disajikan dalam penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Komunikasi Antar Pribadi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Pengaruh Komunikasi Antar Pribadi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan positif, sedang dan signifikan. Dengan demikian berarti Kinerja Karyawan dapat ditingkatkan dengan memperbaiki Komunikasi Antar Pribadi.
