Abstract
ABSTRACT The need for residents in big cities such as Jakarta is increasing, this is due to the increase of population growth. The development of flats is one of the solutions in dealing with settlement problems in Jakarta. But in the implementation of the solution of the development of flats is not always successful, especially in the quality of the flats. One of the problems that often arise in the flats is related to the availability of facilities and infrastructure. Where the function of facilities and infrastructure is very important in the flats as a facility that helps residents of flats. Prior to inhabiting the Jatinegara flats, residents of Kampung Pulo live in horizontal settlements with access to facilities and infrastructure can be reached easily. The inhabitants must adapt to the flats environment to perform daily activities. The availability of public facilities in Jatinegara flat house produces good environmental quality. In this study, researchers will conduct research on the level of satisfaction of residents to the quality of the flats environment. Keyword: Flat, Facilities and Infrastructure, Environmental Quality, Satisfaction of Occupant ABSTRAK Kebutuhan tempat tinggal di kota besar seperti Jakarta semakin meningkat, hal ini dikarenakan melonjaknya pertumbuhan penduduk. Pembangunan rumah susun merupakan salah satu solusi dalam menangani permasalahan permukiman di Jakarta. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya solusi pembangunan rumah susun tidak selamanya dapat dikatakan berhasil, terutama pada kualitas lilngkungan rumah susun. Salah satu masalah yang sering muncul dirumah susun berkaitan dengan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana. Dimana fungsi sarana dan prasarana sangat penting dalam rumah susun sebagai fasilitas yang membantu penghuni rumah susun. Sebelum menghuni rumah susun Jatinegara, warga Kampung Pulo tinggal di permukiman horizontal dengan akses menuju sarana dan prasaran dapat dijangkau dengan mudah. Penghuni harus beradaptasi dengan lingkungan rumah susun untuk melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari. Ketersediaan fasilitas-fasilitas umum pada rumah susun Jatinegara menghasilkan kualitas lingkungan yang baik. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan melakukan penelitian mengenai tingkat kepuasan penghuni terhadap kualitas lingkungan rumah susun.
