Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh attachment dengan orangtua terhadap psychological well being pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 200 subjek. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non probability sampling. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah psychological well being dipengaruhi oleh attachment dengan orangtua. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan 2 kuesioner yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas, yang terdiri dari kuesioner IPPA (Inventory Peer Parent Attachment), RPWB (Ryff’s Psychological Well-being). Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi, setelah dilakukan pengujian terhadap kedua variabel maka diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi atau R squared sebesar 0.407 yang menunjukkan bahwa attachment dengan orangtua memiliki pengaruh kontribusi sebesar 40.7% terhadap psychological well being pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Mercu Buana Menteng Jakarta.
