Abstract

Education is one of the basic needs. In fulfilling the need for education, especially formal education, there is a movement to reach existing schools or campuses. The movement itself requires a mode of transportation as a means of moving. Mode of choice varies based on the level of satisfaction offered by each mode of transportation. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of users, travel characteristics, and factors in choosing the mode of transportation for students to campus, as well as to create a model for choosing the mode of transportation for students to campus between private vehicles and public vehicles. The criteria in the research used were safety, comfort, speed, and cost. The sample taken in this study were 151 respondents. The results of the data analysis concluded that overall private vehicles were rated as the most popular vehicle for students of the University of Mercu Buana Jakarta. Because, overall this private vehicle mode of transportation has the highest value compared to public transportation. Keywords: Mahasiswa, Moda Transportasi, Kendaraan Pribadi, Kendaraan Umum, Analisis Regresi Binary Logistik. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok. Dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan akan pendidikan khususnya pendidikan formal, terjadilah pergerakan untuk mencapai sekolah ataupun kampus yang ada. Pergerakan sendiri membutuhkan moda angkutan sebagai sarana untuk bergerak. Pilihan moda angkutan bervariasi berdasarkan tingkat kepuasan yang ditawarkan tiap moda angkutan. studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik pengguna, karakteristik perjalanan, dan faktor-faktor pemilihan moda transportasi mahasiswa menuju kampus, serta membuat model pemilihan moda angkutan mahasiswa menuju kampus antara kendaraan pribadi dan kendaraan umum. Kriteria dalam penelitian yang digunakan adalah keamanan, kenyamanan, kecepatan, dan biaya. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 151 responden. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kendaraan pribadi dinilai sebagai kendaraan yang paling diminati oleh mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Karena, secara keseluruhan moda transportasi kendaraan pribadi ini memiliki nilai paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan kendaraan umum.
