Abstract
The company PT. X is engaged in aviation services. Especially in the Airfield Lighting division maintaining the best performance of equipment with one of the efforts to maintain equipment efficiently, so as to create a smooth, safe and safe flight. At present in the Airfield Lighting division of PT. X, warehouses for tool storage and spare parts often have problems, namely taking goods in maintenance preparation activities, it takes a long time and it is difficult to find the items needed, because there is still a condition of the accumulation of new items with used goods are not neatly arranged, and there is a lack of knowledge about the application of 5S / 5R methods in warehouses. 5S / 5R method is a change in attitude by applying structuring, cleanliness, and discipline in the workplace. with 5S / 5R method, it is expected to be able to solve problems in the warehouse of tools and spare parts. The results of this study are the application of 5S / 5R method in the warehouse of tools and spare parts to obtain time efficiency by reducing time in equipment maintenance preparation activities. Key Words: efforts, maintain, tools, spare part, 5S/5R Method, efficiency Perusahan PT. X bergerak dalam bidang jasa penerbangan. Khususnya pada divisi Airfield Lighting menjaga kinerja terbaik peralatan dengan salah satu upaya perawatan peralatan secara efisien, agar terciptanya suatu kelancaran, keamanan serta keselamatan penerbangan. Saat ini pada divisi Airfield Lighting PT.X gudang penyimpanan tools dan spare part sering terjadi permasalahan yaitu dalam pengambilan barang pada kegiatan persiapan perawatan, membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan sulit untuk menemukan barang yang diperlukan, karena masih terdapat kondisi penumpukan barang-barang baru dengan bekas, barang tidak tersusun dengan rapi, serta kurangnya pengetahuan tentang penerapan metode 5S/5R pada gudang. Metode 5S/5R adalah perubahan sikap dengan menerapkan penataan, kebersihan, dan kedisiplinan di tempat kerja. dengan metode 5S/5R diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan pada gudang tools dan spare part. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah penerapan metode 5S/5R pada gudang tools dan spare part hingga diperoleh efisiensi waktu dengan reduce time pada kegiatan persiapan perawatan peralatan.
