Abstract

Mercu Buana University Jakarta is a university with a variety of class programs, one of which is an employee class program scheduled every Saturday, so that many employees who wish to continue their education at this campus, recorded in 2018/2019 the number of campus population of 40,264 people consisting of students, lecturers and staff. The large number of students using private vehicles has an impact on the insufficient capacity of the parking area and also the Meruya Selatan road segment which becomes congested during student rush hour. Problems that arise need to look for a solution to create an orderly and safe atmosphere, one of which is to build a new parking building. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of parking spaces in Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. The results of the analysis found that the number of parking lots at Mercu Buana University were 2 locations for motorcycle vehicles and 3 locations for car vehicles. The total base capacity of the parking lot is 1663 units for motorcycles and 114 units for cars. Accumulated for the motor value of 1532 units and the car obtained a value of 417 units. The largest change of parking space for motorbikes is 2.03 vehicles / day / space and for cars is 2.62 vehicles / day / space. The maximum parking index for motorbikes and cars is 0.92 and 3.65. The parking plan building with 3 floors located in front of the tower building can accommodate 420 vehicles. The results of the analysis of the largest volume of the South Meruya road section are 2416.7 pcu / hour and the capacity of the road section is 2270.7 pcu / hour then the level of services value is 1.06. Keywords: Capacity, accumulation, parking space change, road volume Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta merupakan universitas dengan barbagai macam program kelas, salah satunya adalah program kelas karyawan yang dijadwalkan setiap hari Sabtu, sehingga banyak karyawan yang ingin melanjutkan pendidikannya di kampus ini, tercatat pada tahun 2018/2019 jumlah populasi kampus sebesar 40.264 orang yang terdiri dari mahasiswa, dosen dan staff. Banyaknya mahasiswa yang menggunakan kendaraan pribadi yang berdampak pada kapasitas area parkir yang tidak mencukupi dan juga ruas jalan Meruya Selatan yang menjadi padat pada saat jam sibuk mahasiswa. Permasalahan yang timbul perlu dicarikan sebuah solusi agar tercipta suasana yang tertib dan aman, salah satunya adalah dengan membangun gedung parkir baru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengentahui karakteristik ruang parkir yang ada di Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Hasil analisis didapat bahwa jumlah petak parkir di Universitas Mercu Buana sebanyak 2 lokasi untuk kendaraan sepeda motor dan 3 lokasi untuk kendaraan mobil. Total kapasitas dasar dari petak parkir sebesar 1663 unit untuk sepeda motor dan 114 unit untuk mobil. Akumulasi untuk motor didapatkan nilai sebesar 1532 unit dan mobil didapatkan nilai sebesar 417 unit. Tingkat pergantian ruang parkir terbesar untuk sepeda motor sebesar 2,03 kend/hari/ruang dan untuk mobil sebesar 2,62 kend/hari/ruang. Indeks parkir maksimal untuk motor dan mobil sebesar 0,92 dan 3,65. Gedung parkir rencana dengan 3 lantai yang berada di lapangan depan gedung tower mampu menampung 420 kendaraan mobil. Hasil analisis volume terbesar ruas jalan Meruya Selatan adalah 2416,7 smp/jam dan kapasitas ruas jalan tersebut adalah 2270,7 smp/jam maka nilai level of services adalah 1,06.
