Abstract
About 70-80% of postpartum mothers experience baby blues syndrome. Baby blues syndrome or maternity blues is understood as a mild effects disorder that often appears in the first week after childbirth and peaks on days three to five and attacks within 14 days after delivery. Not a few people who consider baby blues syndrome is only considered a side effect of fatigue after giving birth, even though if left unchecked and not handled properly baby blues can rise to postpartum depression. For this reason, socialization in the form of social campaigns is needed regarding baby blues syndrome and postpartum depression. MotherHope Indonesia motion graphic video is made by containing information about understanding, symptoms, causes of baby blues syndrome and postpartum depression as well as what can and cannot be done as a companion for mothers who experience psychiatric disorders after giving birth. Video motion by presenting illustrations as an introduction to stories and information, the color chosen has a feminine impression to show the image of a mother. The work was accompanied by the social community MotherHope Indonesia for the maturation of the material and the distribution of the work, for the content of the material was based on the baby blues syndrome booklet and postpartum depression from MotherHope Indonesia. Key Word: video, motion graphic, baby blues syndrome, post pasrtum depression, post partum, mental health Sekitar 70-80% ibu pasca melahirkan mengalami baby blues syndrome. Baby blues syndrome atau sering disebut maternity blues dimengerti sebagai suatu sindrom gangguan efek ringan yang sering tampak dalam minggu pertama pasca melahirkan dan memuncak pada hari ke tiga sampai ke lima dan menyerang dalam rentang waktu 14 hari setelah melahirkan. Tidak sedikit orang yang yang menganggap sindrom baby blues hanya dianggap sebagai efek samping dari keletihan setelah melahirkan, padahal jika dibiarkan dan tidak ditangani dengan baik baby blues dapat naik tingkat menajadi post partum depression. Untuk itu diperlukan sosialisasi berupa kampanye sosial mengenai baby blues syndrome dan depresi pasca melahirkan. Video motion graphic MotherHope Indonesia dibuat dengan berisikan informasi tentang pengertian, gejala, penyebab baby blues syndrome dan depresi pasca melahirkan serta apa yang bisa dan tidak bisa dilakukan sebagai pendamping ibu yang mengalami gangguan kejiwaan pasca melahirkan.Video motion dengan menghadirkan illustrasi sebagai pengantar cerita dan informasi, warna yang dipilih berkesan feminim untuk menampilkan gambaran seorang ibu. Pembuatan karya didampingi komunitas sosial MotherHope Indonesia untuk pematangan materi dan distribusi karya, untuk isi materi dibuat berdasarkan booklet baby blues syndrome dan depresi pasca melahirkan dari MotherHope Indonesia.
