Abstract

The establishment of a company must have a clear goal, namely achieving maximum profits, prospering the owner of the company or shareholders and maximizing the value of the company which can be seen from the price of the shares. Company value reflects the present value of the desired income in the future and an indicator for the market in assessing the company as a whole. Many supporting factors influence company value. This factor is expected to have an impact on increasing the value of the company. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure, investment policy, and profitability on the value of food and beverage industry manufacturing companies. The research sample was determined by a purposive sampling technique based on the criteria of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage industry sector which are always listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population of this study was taken from industrial sector food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the 2012-2016 research period and obtained by 15 issuers. The sample of companies in accordance with this study were 11 issuers. So that the final results obtained from this sample were 11 manufacturing companies in the food and beverage industry sector. The study sample was determined by a purposive sampling technique based on these criteria. The conclusion of this study is that the capital structure has a significant negative effect on firm value. While investment decisions and financial performance have a positive and significant effect on firm value Berdirinya sebuah perusahaan harus memiliki tujuan yang jelas, yaitu mencapai keuntungan maksimal, memakmurkan pemilik perusahaan atau pemilik saham dan memaksimalkan nilai perusahaan yang dapat dilihat dari harga sahamnya. Nilai perusahaan mencerminkan nilai saat ini dari pendapatan yang diinginkan dimasa mendatang dan indikator bagi pasar dalam menilai perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Banyak faktor – faktor pendukung yang mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Faktor ini diharapkan dapat berdampak untuk meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal, kebijakan investasi, dan profotabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan manufaktur industri makanan dan minuman . Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri makanan dan minuman yang selalu terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) . Populasi penelitian ini diambil pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor industryimakanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI dalam waktu penelitian 2012 – 2016 dan diperoleh 15 emiten. Sampel perusahaan yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini ada sebanyak 11 emiten. Sehinga akhir hasil yang diperoleh dari sampel ini ada 11 perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri makanan dan minuman. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa struktur modal berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan Keputusan investasi dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
