Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work stress and work motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted in Olive Hotel (PT. Gerbang Berkat Indonesia). The object of this research is all employees of PT. The Blessing Gate of Indonesia. This research was was done to 30 respondents by using quantitative descriptive approach. Data processing is performed by Partial Least Square (Smart PLS) analysis version 3.0. The results of this research show that work motivation is positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Gerbang Berkat Indonesia. While work stress is not comparable with performance. Work stress and work motivation on employee performance 61.3% while 38.7% are discussed by other variables not approved in this model and not explained in this study. Keywords: work stress, work motivation, and employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada hotel olive (PT. Gerbang Berkat Indonesia). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Hotel Olive (PT. Gerbang Berkat Indonesia). Objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Gerbang Berkat Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 30 orang responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis Partial Least Square (Smart PLS) versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Gerbang Berkat Indonesia. Sedangkan stres kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Artinya, stres kerja yang diterima adalah tinggi namun tingginya stres kerja tersebut tidak berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Stres kerja dan motivasi kerja 61,3% sedangkan 38,7% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam model ini dan tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.
