Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload, leadership style, and communication on work effectiveness in PT. XYZ Tanah Abang branch using a quantitative descriptive approach. Data in this study were obtained from 55 respondents who were employees of PT. XYZ Data analysis in this study uses an alternative method of structural equation modeling (SEM), namely partial least square (PLS). The first stage in this study was to test the validity of the questions of each of the following variables with their reliability. The second stage examines the relationship between workload, leadership style, and communication on work effectiveness. The results of this study stated that the workload, leadership, and communication variables had a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness. Keywords: workload, leadership style, communication, work effectiveness Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, dan komunikasi terhadap efektivitas kerja pada karyawan PT. XYZ cabang tanah abang dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari 55 responden yang merupakan karyawan PT. XYZ. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode alternatif dari structural equation modeling (SEM) yaitu partial least square (PLS). Tahap pertama dalam penelitian ini untuk menguji validitas pertanyaan setiap variabel berikut dengan reliabilitasnya. Tahap kedua menguji hubungan antara beban kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, dan komunikasi terhadap efektivitas kerja. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel beban kerja, kepemimpinan, dan komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja.
