Abstract

Electricity distribution system is one of the components of an electric power system that functions as a distribution and distribution of electric power from the substation to customers. The distribution system is the last part of the entire electricity system. Therefore the quality of electricity received by customers is greatly influenced by the condition of the distribution network. The distribution of electrical energy from substations to the load there will be a decrease in voltage, due to the resistance of the conductor. A good electric power system must have a stable voltage and not exceed tolerance limits. The tolerance limit allowed for the value of a standard voltage from PLN is -10% and + 5% of the nominal value. So that the above problems can be avoided, then an alternative that can be done is by raising the tap changer and adding capacitor banks to the distribution system. Based on the results of data analysis, that by raising the tap changer and adding capacitor banks can improve the voltage drop on the distribution network. The process of improvement in this thesis is simulated using ETAP 16.0.0 software. Keywords: Distribution Networks, Capacitor Banks, Tap Changer, ETAP 16.0.0 Sistem distribusi tenaga listrik merupakan salah satu komponen sistem tenaga listrik yang berfungsi sebagai mendistribusikan dan menyalurkan tenaga listrik dari gardu induk ke pelanggan. Sistem distribusi adalah bagian terakhir dari seluruh sistem ketenagalistrikan. Oleh karena itu kualitas tenaga listrik yang diterima oleh pelanggan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi jaringan distribusi. Pendistribusian energi listrik dari Gardu ke beban akan ada penurunan tegangan, dikarenakan adanya tahanan pada penghantar. Suatu sistem tenaga listrik yang baik harus memiliki tegangan yang stabil dan tidak melebihi batas toleransi. Batas toleransi yang di perbolehkan untuk nilai suatu tegangan standart dari PLN adalah adalah -10% dan +5% dari nilai nominalnya. Agar permasalahan di atas dapat terhindari, maka alternatif yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan penaikan tap changer dan penambahan bank kapasitor pada sistem distribusi tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data, bahwa dengan menaikan tap changer dan penambahan bank kapasitor dapat memperbaiki drop tegangan pada jaringan distribusi. Proses perbaikan pada skripsi ini disimulasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP 16.0.0. Kata kunci : Jaringan Distribusi, Kapasitor Bank, Tap Changer, ETAP 16.0.0
