Abstract

The national footwear or footwear industry showed much development in 2017 and has the potential to become one of the priority industry sectors in the Indonesian economy. The company to make sure that business activities are carried out effectively in the footwear or footwear industry. Initially carrying out its activities, companies can take a systematic approach to find and cut waste or other activities that do not add value (nonvalue-added) so that all resources are used optimally. In an effort to find waste and increase productivity, the method was used in this case is value stream mapping (VSM). Value Stream Mapping (VSM) as material and process flow information is an important step in lean processes. After analyzing the value added time and non value added time in the current state mapping that illustrates the entire process flow from upstream to downstream in the Alpha Bounce EM M shoe model, the waste that is known to influence is the waiting time that occurs in the heel lining sewing process. Furthermore, the increase in output that occurs in the preparation-stitching process by 25 pairs per hour, starting from 140 pairs to 165 pairs. From the results of the analysis and discussion obtained an increase in productivity by 11%, the goal of increasing productivity by the VSM method in the preparation-stitching process from the first PPH of 1.11 to 1.23. Industri sepatu atau alas kaki nasional menunjukkan perkembangan cukup pada tahun 2017 dan memiliki potensi menjadi salah satu bidang industri prioritas dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Hal ini perusahaan perlu memastikan aktivitas dalam proses bisnis dilakukan dengan efektif di industri sepatu atau alas kaki. Mula-mula menjalankan aktivitasnya, perusahaan dapat melakukan pendekatan sistematis untuk mengidentifikasi dan menghilangkan pemborosan (waste) atau aktivitas lain yang tidak memberi nilai tambah (non-value-added) sehingga semua sumber daya dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Sebagai upaya mengindentifikasi waste dan meningkatkan produktivitas, maka metode yang digunakan dalam hal ini yaitu value stream mapping (VSM). Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sebagai informasi aliran material dan proses yang merupakan langkah penting dalam proses lean. Setelah dilakukan analisis terhadap value added time and non value added time pada current state mapping yang menggambarkan seluruh aliran proses dari hulu ke hilir pada model sepatu Alpha Bounce EM M, maka waste yang diketahui mempengaruhi ialah waiting time yang terjadi pada proses jahit heel lining. Selanjutnya peningkatan output yang terjadi pada proses preparation-stitching sebesar 25 pasang per jam, berawal dari 140 pasang menjadi 165 pasang. Dari hasil analisis dan pembahasan diperoleh peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 11%, secara keseluruhan tujuan peningkata produktivitas dengan metode VSM dalam proses preparation-stitching dari PPH awal sebesar 1.11 menjadi 1.23.
