Abstract
This Study aims to determine the expectation of Total Quality Management on Quality Cost at PT Komatsu Indonesia. This research approach uses a Mixed Method. The population in this study amounted to 552 people who were employees of indirect PT Komatsu Indonesia. Data collection uses a questionnaire given to sample 240 respondents and interviews with five top manager of PT Komatsu Indonesia. The result of this study indicate that the application of Total Quality Management at PT Komatsu Indonesia successfully applied this reinforced the answers of respondents reached 91%. The implementation of Total Quality Management shows a positive influence on Quality Cost with an increase in Total Quality Cost by 10.58% and decrease in Total Quality Assurance Cost by 10.49% until 2017. The result of the study are supported by result of interviews with top managers Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penarapan total quality management terhadap biaya kualitas pada di PT Komatsu Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (Mix Method). Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 552 orang yang merupakan karyawan indirect PT Komatsu Indonesia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada sampel sebanyak 240 responden dan wawancara dengan lima manager puncak PT Komatsu Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Total Quality Management di PT Komatsu Indonesia berhasil diterapkan hal ini diperkuat jawaban responden mencapai angka 91%. Penerapan Total Quality Management menunjukan adanya pengaruh positif terhadap biaya kualitas dengan peningkatan total quality cost sebesar 10,58% dan penurunan total quality assurance cost sebesar -10,49% sampai dengan tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian didukung dengan hasil wawancara dengan manager puncak.
