Abstract

Indonesia is one country that has a lot of natural potential both on land and in the ocean. The diversity of nature, flora, fauna and, human works that have selling value to be developed into a business in the field of tourism. West Java Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has many kinds of tourism both natural and other tourism that are very attractive to foreign and domestic tourists to stop at this place, especially in the city of Bandung. The city of Bandung, which has various advantages, starting from its still cool nature, art and culture, the creativity of its people, and its fashion. Therefore, the city was designated as a world tourism city by UNESCO in 2013. Even so, the City of Bandung government must begin and continue to improve various infrastructure as well as the security and comfort of various tourist destinations. One of them is Hotel facilities as a jack of the tourism industry. The design of a hotel must consider two main aspects of designing commercial buildings, namely efficiency and comfort. The purpose of this design is to learn to design Resort Hotels according to user needs, both the general public and occupants, so as to provide security, comfort and convenience for residents' activities and be friendly to the surrounding environment by implementing Green Building Architecture both in terms of design and building material technology. Keywords: Hotels, Resort Hotels, Neo-Vernacular Architecture, Green Building Architecture. Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang memiliki banyak potensi alam baik di daratan maupun di lautan. Keanekaragaman alam, flora, fauna dan, karya cipta manusia yang memiliki nilai jual untuk dikembangkan menjadi sebuah usaha di bidang kepariwisataan. Provinsi Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang memiliki banyak macam pariwisata baik wisata alam ataupun lainnya yang sangat menarik minat para wisatawan asing maupun domestik untuk singgah di tempat ini, khususnya di Kota Bandung. Kota Bandung yang memiliki bebagai kelebihan, mulai dari alamnya yang masih sejuk, seni dan budaya, kreativitas masyarakatnya, serta fashionnya. Oleh karena itu, kota tersebut ditetapkan sebagai kota wisata dunia oleh UNESCO pada tahun 2013. Meski begitu, pihak pemerintah Kota Bandung harus mulai dan terus membenahi diri berbagai infrastruktur serta, keamanan dan kenyamanan berbagai tempat tujuan wisata. Salah satunya adalah fasilitas Hotel sebagai dongkrak dari industri pariwisata. Perancangan sebuah hotel harus mempertimbangkan dua aspek utama pada perancangan bangunan komersial, yaitu efisiensi dan kenyamanan. Tujuan dari perancangan ini, yaitu belajar merancang Hotel Resort sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, baik masyarakat umum maupun para penginap, sehingga memberikan keamanan, kenyamanan dan kemudahan untuk aktivitas penghuninya serta ramah terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya dengan menerapkan Green Building Architecture baik dari segi desain maupun teknologi bahan bangunan. Kata Kunci : Hotel, Hotel Resort, Arsitektur Neo-Vernakular, Arsitektur Bangunan Hijau.
