Abstract

Tofu is a food that is liked by many people especially especially by the people in Jakarta from the upper middle class to the middle to lower class. Tofu preferred not only because the price is affordable but has very good nutritional content. The tofu artisans sometimes don't think about the process of making tofu because this is their daily activity. Even though the process of making tofu is important in creating a product that is widely consumed by many people, namely tofu. In the process of making tofu, there are many aspects, namely requiring supporting tools in the process of making tofu from the beginning to the end of the process and the tools have different functions according to the needs of the process of making tofu. Keywords : Tofu, Making Process, Tools and Functions Tahu merupakan makanan yang disukai banyak orang terlebih khusus oleh masyarakat di Jakarta dari kalangan menengah atas sampai kalangan menengah kebawah. Tahu disukai bukan hanya karena harganya terjangkau tapi memiliki kandungan gizi yang sangat baik. Para pengrajin tahu terkadang tidak memikirkan proses pembuatan tahu tersebut karena ini merupakan aktifitas mereka sehari-hari. Padahal proses pembuatan tahu ini merupakan hal penting dalam terciptanya sebuah produk yang banyak dikonsumsi banyak orang yaitu tahu. Dalam proses pembuatan tahu ternyata terdapat banyak aspek yaitu membutuhkan alat-alat pendukung pada proses pembuatan tahu dari awal sampai akhir prosesnya dan alatalat tersebut mempunyai fungsi yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan kebutuhan pada proses pembuatan tahu tersebut.
