Abstract

Pasar Mayestik is one of the trade centers in South Jakarta with various kinds of facilities such as textile, clothing, cosmetics, clothing, various kinds of furniture, and many kinds of goods available at Mayestik Market. Mayestik hadi market since the 1950s. There are no special pedestrian facilities in the domestic market pedestrian pathway, thereby reducing the difficulty of visitors to the market's largest shophouses in their activities on the pedestrian path. Therefore, evaluating the road market to the convenience of pedestrians is the right method used in this study. The method used in processing data is quantitative while the presentation of results uses descriptive qualitative. The research instrument used was direct observation with observation sheets, questionnaires, documentation. Seven criteria obtained from this research were accessibility, size, material, direction, lighting, vegetation and cleanliness. Based on the results of the evaluation, Pasar Mayestik is related to the results of the assessment based on the assessment using PU No: 03 / PRT / M / 2014 with results based on questionnaires through the assessment of people passing through the market's main shophouse pedestrian path. This difference shows that the standards used in the observation are still higher than the perceptions of people passing through the main market shophouses. Keywords: Mayestik Market, Evaluation of convenience Pasar Mayestik merupakan salah satu pusat perdagangan di Jakarta Selatan dengan dilengkapi berbagai macam fasilitas yaitu pertokoan tekstil, pakaian, kosmetika, pakaian, berbagai macam kebutuhan memasak, dan masih banyak macam macam yang terdapat di Pasar Mayestik. Pasar Mayestik hadi sejak 1950- an. Tidak adanya fasilitas khusus pejalan kaki di jalur pejalan kaki pasar mayestik sehingga berpotensi membahayakan pengunjung ruko pasar mayestik dalam beraktivitas di jalur pejalan kaki. Oleh karena itu, evaluasi jalan pasar mayestik terhadap kenyamanan pejalan kaki menjadi metode yang tepat digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengolah data adalah pendekatan kuantitatif sementara dalam penyajian hasil menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dengan lembar observasi, kuesioner, , dokumentasi. Terdapat tujuh kriteria yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu aksesbilitas, ukuran, material, penunjuk arah, pencahayaan, vegetasi dan kebersihan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi Jalan Pasar Mayestik terdapat perbedaan antara hasil evaluasi berdasarkan observasi menggunakan standar Permen PU No : 03/PRT/M/2014 dengan hasil berdasarkan kuesioner melalui persepsi orang yang melewati jalur pejalan kaki ruko pasar mayestik. Perbedaan ini menunjukan bahwa standar yang digunakan dalam observasi masih lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan persepsi orang yang melewati jalur pejalan kaki ruko pasar mayestik.
