Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of capital to adequacy ratio, non performing loan, loan to deposit ratio, and operational expenses to operational income on the return on asset as a proxy of banking financial performance contained in BEI 2012 – 2017. Research data is annual data for six years of observation. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Of the population of 57 Banks listed on the Exchange, 24 banks met the criteria as samples. The research data is pooled data consisting of 24 banks registered in BEI, 6 years observation period is taken from 2012 - 2017. Total observations are 144 observations. The method of analysis used is pooled data regression analysis. The results showed that partially CAR and NPL have no significant effect on ROA. Otherwise LDR has a significant positive effect, while BOPO has a significant negative effect on ROA. Keywords: Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Operational Expenses to operational Income, Return on Asset, Banking Financial Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh variabel CAR, NPL, LDR, dan BOPO terhadap ROA sebagai proksi dari kinerja keuangan perbankan yang terdapat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2012 – 2017. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Dari populasi 57 Bank yang terdaftar di Bursa, 24 bank memenuhi kriteria sebagai sample. Data penelitian merupakan data panel yang terdiri atas 24 Bank yang terdaftar di BEI, periode pengamatan 6 tahun diambil dari tahun 2012 – 2017. Total pengamatan sebanyak 144 observasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CAR dan NPL tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA sebagai proksi dari kinerja Perbankan. Sedangkan LDR berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. BOPO berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ROA. Kata kunci: CAR, NPL, LDR, BOPO, ROA, Kinerja Keuangan Perbankan
