Abstract
The airport serves as a gateway as well as a symbol of a City, a region and a state making the government increasingly competing to build airports with the latest design and technology. The design of the airport is expected to make the first arrivals tourists amazed. Not infrequently the design of the airport into the benchmarks of a region. Basic design concept of Mali Alor Airport building is a design that characterizes the local area that is displayed in a modern, but also do not forget to apply green architecture in the application of sustainable architecture that is environmentally friendly architecture. The concept of green architecture is closely related to environmental awareness, where the green architecture not only establishes architectural elements such as, strong, functional, esthetic, and low cost but also must consider other dimensions of the approach to environment, sustainable concept, and energy saving . Keywords: Mali Alor Airport, Airport Architecture, Green Architecture Bandar udara berfungsi sebagai pintu gerbang sekaligus simbol suatu Kota, daerah dan negara membuat pemerintah kian berlomba-lomba membangun bandar udara dengan desain dan teknologi paling mutakhir. Desain bandar udara diharapkan mampu membuat para pendatang tertama wisatawan berdecak kagum. Tidak jarang desain Bandar udara menjadi tolok ukur kemamuran suatu daerah. Dasar konsep perancangan bangunan Bandara Mali Alor ini adalah desain yang mencirikan kelokalan daerah setempat yang di tampilkan dalam suatu yang modern, namun juga tidak lupa menerapkan arsitektur hijau dalam penerapan arsitektur yang berkelanjutan yaitu arsitektur yang ramah lingkungan. Konsep arsitektur hijau sangat erat hubungannya dengan kesadaran lingkungan, dimana arsitektur hijau tidak hanya menetapkan elemen-elemen arsitektural saja seperti, kuat, fungsional, estetiks, dan rendah biaya tetapi juga juga harus mempertimbangkan dimensi lain yaitu pendekatan terhadap lingkungan, konsep berkelanjutan, dan hemat energy. Kata Kunci: Bandara Mali Alor, Arsitektur Bandara, Arsitektur Hijau.
