Abstract

This research intends to test the effect of the fixed assets turnover and capital structure on return on investment. This sampling using Causal Research with Purposive Sampling technique. The sample in this research are 11 Food and Beverages sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2010-2016 period. The research method used is descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. Before the hypothesis testing is done first test of normality and test classic assumptions (multicolinearity and heterocedasticity test) which showed that all the variables used are free from multicolinearity and heterocedasticity, and all variables are normality distributed using the program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25.0 The result of this study indicate that fixed assets turnover has a significant positive effect on return on investment and capital structure has a significant negative effect on return on investment. Keywords: Fixed Assets Turnover, Capital Structure, Return On Investment Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh perputaran aktiva tetap dan struktur modal terhadap return on investment. Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan metode Kausal dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 11 perusahaan maufaktur sub sektor Food and Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2010-2016. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis regeresi linear berganda. Sebelum uji hipotesis digunakan terlebih dahulu uji normalitas dan uji asumsi klasik (Uji multikolinearitas dan Heterokedastisitas) yang menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel yang digunakan adalah telah terbebas dari multikolinearitas dan heterokedastisitas, dan semua variabel berdistribusi secara normal dengan menggunakan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 25.0 Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perputaran aktiva tetap berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap return on investment dan struktur modal berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap return on investment .
