Abstract
Asean econonic community is the integrated asean community to the free trading of asean countries member. An economic event in Southeast Asia that has a steering point to the dynamics of capital market conditions where regional economic conditions are basically also a reflection of the stability of the economy of a country. This research use paired sample t-test to test difference of MEA to abnormal return and trading volume (TVA) stock with sample of 30 companies moving in property from december 2015 until january 2016 where observation period used 14 days ie 7 days before and 7 days after the entry into force of the MEA. based on the results of data analysis found that the event of the entry into force of Asean economic society (MEA) there is no significant difference to the abnormal return of developer companies and significantly different to the trading volume of stock neither. Keyword : Asean Econonic Community, Abnormal Return, Trading Volume, Property Company, IDX Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) merupakan bentuk terintegrasinya masyarakat ASEAN terhadap perdagangan bebas anggota negara ASEAN. Sebuah peristiwa ekonomi wilayah asia tenggara mempunyai kadar pengaruh terhadap kondisi pasar modal, dinamika kondisi ekonomi regional pada dasarnya juga merupakan cerminan dari stabilitas perekonomian suatu negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t-test untuk menguji perbedaan diberlakukannya MEA terhadap Abnormal Return dan Volume Perdagangan (TVA) saham dengan sampel sebanyak 30 perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang property dari Desember tahun 2015 sampai dengan Januari tahun 2016, dimana periode pengamatan yang digunakan adalah 14 hari yaitu 7 hari sebelum dan 7 hari sesudah berlakunya peristiwa MEA. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa berlakunya Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) tidak ada perbedaan signifikan terhadap Abnormal Return perusahaan-perusahaan pengembang dan tidak pula berbeda secara signifikan terhadap volume perdagangan saham.
