Abstract
The development of information systems that more quickly can be utilized well through many things in the system, but some managers and prospective renters rental home rental business is still having difficulty in having an integrated system. Many of them still make reservations directly in everyday life. In terms of consumers, still have to do rentals at the location where the boarding was located and limited information about the types available. West Jakarta is one of the administrative areas of Jakarta which is a city with a population density that can be spelled out much more than the city residency or buffer city and especially the mobility of people from the surrounding town who go back and forth to look for work or are undergoing education. Given the high mobility of the habitation is very necessary in this case the author highlights about the rental place boarding. With a boarding house and can make it easier for workers, students, students to optimize the time to reduce travel from home to work or from home to school and college. Therefore, it was made "Easykost.com Apllication of Web-Based WebBased Rental Services In West Jakarta Area". So this application will make it easier to Search for the board as desired and according to price. This application is built on the web using PHP programming language with SQL database, and design with Waterfall method. Keywords: Boarding Place, Information System, West Jakarta Perkembangan sistem informasi yang semakin cepat bisa dimanfaatkan dengan baik melalui banyak hal dalam sistem, namun beberapa pengelola dan calon penyewa usaha sewa rumah kost masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memiliki suatu sistem yang terintegrasi. Banyak diantara mereka masih melakukan pemesanan secara langsung di kehidupan sehari-hari. Dari segi konsumen, masih harus melakukan penyewaan di lokasi tempat kost berada dan informasi yang terbatas mengenai jenis yang tersedia. Jakarta Barat merupakan salah satu wilayah administrasi Jakarta yang merupakan kota dengan dengan kepadatan penduduk yang bisa dibilang banyak dibanding kota karesidenan atau kota penyangga dan terlebih juga mobilitas penduduk dari kota sekitar yang hilir mudik untuk mencari pekerjaan ataupun sedang menjalani masa pendidikan. Dengan adanya mobilitas yang tinggi tersebut maka hunian sangatlah diperlukan dalam hal ini penulis menyoroti tentang sewa tempat kost . Dengan adanya tempat kost dan dapat mempermudah para pekerja, siswa, mahasiswa dapat mengoptimalkan waktu untuk mengurangi perjalanan dari rumah ke kantor atau dari rumah ke sekolah dan kampus. Oleh Karena itu dibuatlah ”Aplikasi Easykost.com Jasa Penyewaan Kost Berbasis Web Pada Wilayah Jakarta Barat”. Sehingga aplikasi ini akan mempermudah untuk Mencari kost sesuai keinginan dan sesuai harga. Aplikasi ini dibangun berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP dengan database SQL, dan perancangan dengan metode Waterfall. Kata kunci : Tempat Kost, Sistem Informasi, Jakarta Barat
