Abstract

Indonesia's geographical condition consisting of the archipelago requires a mode of transportation that is able to reach each region more quickly, precisely and economically. Aircraft that is an air transport mode requires an airport as a place of dismissal of origin and destination. Airport design should be able to be offered as a safety, convenience instrument. In addition, the design and development tekonolgi airport that is able to support all activities of the community through consideration with the applied local architecture. In its development, modern airports are not only equipped with main facilities, but now equipped with supporting facilities. The application of local identity becomes the point needed to elevate the hallmark of Alor region. The purpose of this design is the solution of problems in efforts to improve and quality of transportation in community service through design. The benefits of this sculpture for regional economic development, increasing the potential for tourism visits, providing comfort, safety, and safety. As well as raising local wisdom as a hallmark of Alor region. Modification of green architecture to local wisdom through the results of proper application to be a design solution with sustainable identity. Kondisi geografis Indonesia yang terdiri dari kepulauan memerlukan moda transportasi yang mampu menjangkau setiap daerah dengan lebih cepat, tepat dan ekonomis. Pesawat terbang yang merupakan moda transportasi udara memerlukan Bandar Udara sebagai tempat pemberhentian asal dan tujuan. Desain Bandar Udara harus mampu ditawarkan sebagai instrument keselamatan, kenyamanan. Selain itu desain serta tekonolgi pengembangan Bandar Udara yang mampu mendukung segala aktivitas masyarakatnya melalui pertimbangan dengan terapan arsitektur setempat. Dalam perkembangannya, bandar udara modern tidak hanya dilengkapi fasilitas utama, tetapi kini dilengkapi dengan fasilitas pendukung. Penerapan identitas kelokalan menjadi poin yang dibutuhkan untuk mengangkat ciri khas daerah Alor. Tujuan dari perancangan ini merupakan solusi permasalahan dalam upaya meningkatkan dan kualitas transportasi dalam pelayanan masyarakat melalui desain. Manfaat dari peracangan ini untuk perkembangan ekonomi daerah, meningkatkan potensi kunjungan pariwisata, memberikan kenyamanan, keamanan, dan keselamatan. Serta mengangkat kearifan lokal sebagai ciri khas daerah Alor. Modifikasi arsitektur hijau pada kearifan lokal melalui hasil penerapan yang tepat sehingga menjadi solusi desain dengan identitas berkelanjutan.
