Abstract

As the times and develop younger generation thinking Indonesia, OSIS not only the internal organization of the school who is a container ensconce the students - but now the start is born forum at the regional level, both starting from district / city level. Position Forum OSIS has become one of the containers ensconce students in the region through the activities that are positive. One Forum OSIS is the object of this study is the Forum OSIS Jawa Barat, which started up since January 5th, 2013, until today Forum OSIS Jawa Barat are often held activities that are very positive for shelter students in the area of West Java province, one of the activities that the Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat. This study was conducted to determine the stage of event management in Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat organized by Forum OSIS Jawa Barat. As for the identification of the problem of this research is how the Step of pre-event, the implementation of the event and Evaluation of Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat 2018 organized by Forum OSIS Jawa Barat. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The method used is a case study conducted interviews to sources, observation - participants and documentation. These results indicate that the stages of event management is done by the Forum OSIS Jawa Barat entirely refers to the stage of Pre - Implementation, implementation and evaluation, which in these stages Forum OSIS Jawa Barat also have specific strategies to achieve the goal of implementing the event that strategy with adopted public relations strategy including , research phase, strategy Phase and tactics. From the research that has been done, the researchers concluded although already performed the steps in accordance with the existing concept does not rule out their shortcomings in some aspects of the event, the shortfall shall be a good idea for the evaluation of future improvement. Keywords: OSIS, Event, Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat, Management Seiring perkembangan zaman dan berkembang pemikiran generasi muda Indonesia, OSIS bukan hanya menjadi organisasi internal sekolah saja yang menjadi wadah bernaungung para siswa – siswi namun saat ini mulai lah lahir Forum – forum OSIS ditingkat daerah, baik dimulai dari tingkat Kabupaten/Kota. Kedudukan Forum OSIS tersebut menjadi salah satu wadah bernaungnya para siswa – siswi di suatu wilayah melalui kegiatan – kegiatan yang positif. Salah satu Forum OSIS yang menjadi obyek penelitian ini adalah Forum OSIS Jawa Barat yang mulai berdiri sejak 5 Januari 2013, hingga saat ini Forum OSIS Jawa Barat seringkali mengadakan kegiatan – kegiatan yang sangat positif guna menanugi para siswa – siswi di wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat, salah satu kegiatannya yaitu Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tahapan manajemen event pada program Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat 2018 yang diselenggarakan oleh Forum OSIS Jawa Barat. Adapun yang menjadi identifikasi masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tahapan pra-event, tahap pelaksanaan event dan tahap pasca-event Festival Pelajar Jawa Barat 2018 yang diselenggarakan oleh Forum OSIS Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber, observasi- partisipan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tahapan manajemen event yang dilakukan oleh Forum OSIS Jawa Barat seluruhnya mengacu pada tahapan Pra – Pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi, dimana didalam tahapan tersebut FOJB juga memiliki strategi khusus untuk mencapai tujuan dari pelaksanaan event tersebut strategi tersebut dengan mengadosi strategi humas diantaranya, fase penelitian, fase strategi serta fase taktik. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, peneliti menyimpulkan meskipun sudah menjalankan tahapan sesuai dengan konsep yang ada tidak menutup kemungkinan adanya kekurangan event pada beberapa aspek, kekurangan tersebut baiknya harus menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk perbaikan kedepannya.
