Abstract

Indonesian tourism is being seen by many countries. The government, especially the Ministry of Tourism, is intensively carrying out development in areas that have tourism potential. The need for resorts and hotels is increasing as well as the increasing attention of the tourism sector in Indonesia. The city of Bandung is one of the leading tourist destinations that are already popular for domestic and foreign tourists. Its location close to the capital city of Jakarta, makes Bandung often a "short escape" for residents of the city of Jakarta. In addition, the attraction of Bandung is a magnet for foreign tourists to travel, because this city is a beautiful city neatly arranged complete with culinary and shopping tours, and the sub-urban area of the city of Bandung has a beautiful, rural nature in the mountainous region with air cool and fantastic scenery. The increasing demands for accommodation for tourists and tourism potential in the city of Bandung, especially the Isola Sub-District of Sukasari District, Bandung Regency, it is necessary to add a new hotel with a resort concept that serves as a place to stay and travel / recreation for tourists who come to Bandung. It is expected that the addition of this hotel can add accommodation capacity for tourists who travel in Bandung, especially when facing a long holiday or weekend break. The planned hotel resorts, will have facilities that can support tourist activities while traveling / recreation. The design of "Bandung Neo Hotel & Resort" also emphasizes "heritage" as a basic reference for the theme and concept of neo-vernacular architecture, so as a consideration in planning and manifestations of its products, including interior and exterior architectural aspects, including landscapes, dining and drinking facilities, supporting facilities at the hotel (supporting events / art activities in hotels and resorts). Keywords: Neo-Vernacular, Hotel, Resort, Bandung Pariwisata Indonesia saat ini sedang menjadi sorotan banyak Negara. Pemerintah khususnya Kementerian Pariwisata sedang gencar melakukan pembangunan di wilayah yang memiliki potensi pariwisata. Dengan semakin diperhatikannya sektor pariwisata di Indonesia, kebutuhan akan resort dan hotel semakin meningkat pula. Kota Bandung adalah salah satu destinasi wisata unggulan yang sudah popular bagi turis domestik maupun mancanegara. Lokasinya yang dekat dengan ibukota Jakarta, menjadikan Bandung sering menjadi “short escape” bagi para penghuni kota Jakarta. Selain itu, daya tarik kota Bandung merupakan magnet bagi turis mancanegara untuk berwisata, karena kota ini merupakan kota cantik yang tertata rapi lengkap dengan wisata kuliner dan belanja, dan daerah sub urban kota Bandung memiliki alam yang asri, khas pedesaan di daerah pegunungan dengan udara yang sejuk dan pemandangan yang fantastis. Adanya peningkatan tuntutan kebutuhan tempat menginap bagi para wisatawan dan potensi wisata di Kota Bandung, khususnya Kelurahan Isola Kecamatan Sukasari, Kabupaten Bandung, maka dibutuhkan penambahan hotel baru dengan konsep resort yang berfungsi sebagai tempat menginap dan berwisata/rekreasi bagi para wisatawan yang datang ke kota Bandung. Diharapkan dengan penambahan hotel ini bisa menambah daya tampung penginapan bagi para wisatawan yang berwisata di kota Bandung terutama saat menghadapi liburan panjang ataupun libur akhir pekan. Resort hotel yang direncanakan, akan memiliki fasilitas yang dapat menunjang kegiatan wisatawan selama berwisata/berekreasi. Perancangan “Bandung Neo Hotel & Resort” juga menitik beratkan “heritage” sebagai acuan dasar tema dan konsep Arsitektur neo-vernakuler, maka sebagai pertimbangan dalam perencanaan dan wujud/manifestasi produknya, meliputi aspek arsitektural interior dan eksterior, termasuk landskap, fasilitas makan dan minum, fasilitas pendukung di hotel (event-event pendukung/pengisi kegiatan kesenian di hotel dan resort).
