Abstract

Planning facility layout is one effort to organize various equipment and production facilities in order to provide efficiency in terms of layout. The purpose of layout planning is to increase the capacity of process and / or production in the most economical way through the effective arrangement and coordination of physical facilities. Layout problems that occur in PT. XYZ is the length of onestove gas cooking process, which is caused by several problems of unplanned layout design, displacement activity and irregular material flow, and material handling process is wrong, so the production process of one-stove gas stove becomes old. The purpose of this research is to give layout proposal of layout of production facility and also make regular flow of material so that production process that happened can be more effective and efficient. From this research, we can also recommend the type of conveyance in accordance with the condition of the production area of one-stove gas stove. The steps of redesigning the layout of one furnace gas stove production facility using systematic layout planning (SLP) method, starting with making Operation Process Chart (OPC) and Flow Process Chart (FPC), Multy product Process (MPPC), Sheetable Routing, Activity Releationship Chart (ARC), and Area Releationship Diagram (ARD). The final result of this research is Space Releationship Diagram (SRD), and Block layout of one stove gas production area area along with material flow map based on the layout of the proposal. From the results of data processing and analysis known by the application of the proposed layout of this production capacity can reach 15,840 units / month or an increase of 16.5% from the previous capacity which only reached 13,800 units / month, So as to meet demand demand orders that reached the average 15,250 units / month. Keywords: Floor Production, Relayout, Systematic Layout planning (SLP) Perencanaan tata letak fasilitas merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengorganisir berbagai peralatan dan fasilitas produksi agar mampu memberikan efisiensi dari segi tata letak. Tujuan perencanaan tata letak yakni menambah kapasitas proses dan /atau produksi dengan cara yang paling ekonomis melalui pengaturan dan koordinasi yang efektif dari fasilitas fisik. Permasalahan tata letak yang terjadi di PT. XYZ adalah lamanya proses pengerjaan kompor gas satu tungku, yang disebabkan karena beberapa permasalahan yaitu desain tata letak yang tidak tertata, aktivitas perpindahan serta aliran material yang tidak teratur, serta proses material handling yang salah, sehingga proses produksi kompor gas satu tungku menjadi lama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan usulan layout tata letak fasilitas produksi dan juga membuat aliran material yang teratur agar proses produksi yang terjadi dapat lebih efektif dan efisien. Dari penelitian ini, dapat direkomendasikan pula jenis alat angkut yang sesuai dengan keadaan area produksi kompor gas satu tungku. Langkahlangkah perancangan ulang tata letak fasilitas produksi kompor gas satu tungku dengan menggunakan metode systematic layout planning (SLP), dimulai dengan membuat Operation Process Chart (OPC) dan Flow Process Chart (FPC), Multy product Process (MPPC), Routing sheettable, Activity Releationship Chart (ARC), dan Area Releationship Diagram (ARD). Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah Space Releationship Diagram (SRD), dan Block layout area produksi kompor gas satu tungku beserta peta aliran material berdasarkan layout usulan tersebut. Dari hasil pengolahan data dan analisa diketahui dengan penerapan layout yang diusulkan ini kapasitas produksi dapat mencapai 15.840 unit/bulan atau meningkat sebanyak 16,5% dari kapasitas sebelumnya yang hanya mencapai 13.800 unit/bulan, Sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan permintaan pesanan yang mencapai rata-rata 15.250 unit/bulan.
