Abstract

Merchandiser is the part responsible for managing various products, price and promotion every day and control inventory at retail store, support store by providing start from product knowledge, concept of arranging goods, follow up availability of goods in store. Often the loss of document store reports when the merchandising audit makes this information system will be very useful for storing data. Research methodology by collecting data through direct observation in the company, the process of question and answer by asking some questions to the resource and taking data from books and other sources that already exist and contain the required data. While the method of system development used in this research using waterfall method. The results of this study are the design and implementation of information systems that support merchandiser support operations and providing up to date reports for follow up, as well as storing the of a store visit in the database that will be displayed at the time of audit on the merchandiser. The conclusion is that Merchandiser Support Operation information system helps companies in evaluating the work between the Store and Head Office, and provide an accurate and relevant audit report. Keywords: Information System, Merchandiser Support, Waterfall Method Merchandiser merupakan bagian yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengelola bermacam-macam produk, harga dan melakukan promosi setiap harinya serta mengontrol inventori pada store ritel, membantu store dengan menyediakan mulai dari product knowledge, konsep menata barang, melakukan follow up ketersediaan barang di store. Sering hilangnya dokumen store report saat audit merchandising membuat sistem informasi ini akan sangat berguna untuk menyimpan data. Metodologi penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan secara langsung di perusahaan, proses tanya jawab dengan mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan kepada narasumber dan pengambilan data dari buku maupun sumber lain yang telah ada dan memuat data yang dibutuhkan. Sedangkan metode pengembangan sistem yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini mengunakan metode waterfall. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perancangan dan implementasi sistem informasi yang mensupport merchandiser support operation serta memberikan laporan yang up to date untuk ditindak lanjuti, serta menyimpan report kunjungan store dalam database yang akan ditunjukan pada saat audit pada bagian merchandiser. Dapat disimpukan dengan adanya sistem informasi Merchandiser Support Operation membantu perusahaan dalam mengevaluasi pekerjaan antara Store dan Head Office, serta memberikan laporan berupa penilaian audit yang akurat serta relevan.
