Abstract

Developments in the field of information technology, especially information systems, make all private companies and government offices are required to follow the development of it, where the development of this technology could bring the ease of which promises an efficiency of the work. This application is made because in the Field of Data Processing Systems of Information, ranging from the application process, the manufacture of SPPD, until the process of making reports of official travel and the shipment is still done manually. It is clearly less effective and efficient, both in terms of material and time. It is necessary for an application that can manage the process of travel quickly and accurately. The author took the initiative to do research on the system used by the Field of Data Processing Information Systems (PDSI) in the reporting of trips that occur each year. This application is made web-based with some facilities, such as the management of employee data, report management, management of travel data, differentiation of form based on user login, printing, travel warrant, and printing the results report. The implementation of this application using the PHP programming language with Macromedia Dreamweaver as html editor and MySQL for the database. The results of this final project can make the process of travel department more effective and efficient and can process data accurately so as to save resources. Perkembangan di bidang teknologi informasi, khususnya sistem informasi, membuat segala perusahan swasta maupun kantor pemerintahan di haruskan mengikuti perkembangan itu, dimana perkembangan teknologi ini bisa membawa kemudahan yang menjanjikan sebuah efisiensi kerja. Aplikasi ini dibuat karena di Bidang Pengolahan Data Sistem Informasi, mulai dari proses permohonan, pembuatan SPPD, sampai proses pembuatan laporan perjalanan dinas dan pengirimannya masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal tersebut jelas kurang efektif dan efisien, baik dari segi materi maupun waktu. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat memanajemen proses perjalanan dinas secara cepat dan akurat. Penulis berinisiatif untuk melakukan riset terhadap sistem yang digunakan oleh Bidang Pengolahan Data Sistem Informasi (PDSI) dalam melakukan pelaporan perjalanan dinas yang terjadi setiap tahunnya. Aplikasi ini dibuat berbasis web dengan beberapa fasilitas-fasilitas, seperti pengelolaan data karyawan, pengelolaan laporan, pengelolaan data perjalanan, pembedaan form berdasarkan login user, pencetakan surat perintah perjalanan dinas, dan pencetakan hasil laporan. Implementasi dari aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan Macromedia Dreamweaver sebagai editor html dan MySQL untuk basis datanya. Hasil dari proyek akhir ini dapat menjadikan proses perjalanan dinas lebih efektif dan efisien serta dapat mengolah data secara akurat sehingga dapat menghemat sumber daya yang ada.
